Chapel Hill Shooting Craig Stephens Hicks Hate Crime Craig Stephens Hicks did commit a hate crime in the murder of three Muslim students because, I contend, that he would not have shot an attractive young blonde woman in the head over a parking spot. Indeed, he may have just given it to her! The problem with hate crime laws are they are based on what a person says about another person, not on what I call "The white blonde woman" standard.
