SF Mayor Ed Lee Thanks Maria Ayerdi Kaplan Salesforce Transit Center Developer For Her Work - Video
Maria Ayerdi Kaplan received specific thanks and congratulations from San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee. This was on March 27th 2013 groundbreaking for Salesforce Tower, located at 1st and Mission in San Francisco. This new video is part of a longer video of the same event, but never before has any media outlet showed just this part of the ceremony. As Mayor Lee, who passed away on December 12th 2017, said, Maria, in her role as developer of Salesforce Transit Center and the Transbay Joint Powers Authority itself, not only survived three Mayors of San Francisco (Willie Brown, Gavin Newsome, and Ed Lee), but many changes in the market surrounding the transit center, and in development law itself. Maria Ayerdi Kaplan is the (now former) Executive Director of The Transbay Joint Powers Authority and developer of Salesforce Transit Center, the giant $2 billion terminal that serves to invite buses and eventually trains into San Francisco and from Oakland and the East Bay, and the South Bay Area, California. Stay tuned.
