Universal Basic Income already exists in California. It’s call, CA-EBT Program. Has a “Food” benefit, and in some cases, a “CASH” benefit. While $500 will assist in reducing some financial pain, it does nothing to turn the problems around. Dems love to throw $$$ at problems without a resolution. PATH has viable solutions for now & into the future. Program is “Non-Competitive” to “Capitalistic” Real Estate Industry.
