“Keep It Oakland” Movement Aims To Help Small Independant Businesses In Oakland - Video
“Keep It Oakland” is a movement that was already there but now has been accelerated by the Oakland Indie Alliance. The intent, as explained to me by Amy Hillyard, co-owner of Farley’s East Cafe in Uptown Oakland, is to support and promote The Town’s native entrepreneurs. Amy explained that the Oakland Indie Alliance hired an agency to establish the promotional campaign (it should have called Zennie62Media for help, but I digress). The T-shirt you see was created to raise funds for the non-profit. You can buy the t-shirts at Farley’s East Cafe at 33 Grand Avenue, which is the home of the “Keep It Oakland” movement. Stay tuned.
