Oakland A’s Send Letter Asking Fans To Get CIty Council To Drop Alameda County Lawsuit All, As of today, the City of Oakland has not dropped its lawsuit against Alameda County. The A's want to work with the City of Oakland. The team is offering the City of Oakland $85 million to purchase their portion of the Coliseum site, plus a community benefits package that would include affordable housing and labor-friendly contracts. Urge City Council to drop the lawsuit! Oakland City Councilmembers need to hear from their constituents. If you live and/or work in Oakland, attend the City Council meeting next Tuesday and make yourself heard! Date: Tuesday, November 5th Time: 5:30pm Location: City Council Chambers, 3rd Floor, 1 Frank H Ogawa Plaza Public comment is at the top of the agenda and each comment is limited to two minutes.
