Well, that is not true. In Atlanta, six police officers were fired for violating the rights of two college students during protest activity on Sunday. The students were not part of any protest, were in their car, and going to buy food. The officers went to their car, shot out the glass with a tazer, and as glass showered on them, yanked them out of their car like they were trash bags. All of this was caught on the officers body camera. It’s clear that comprehensive reform of police training and practices is in order. Having an African American police force does not guarantee that blacks will not be harmed.
