19th And Broadway Oakland Person Fatally Struck By Shots Fired From Vehicle Sunday Morning This is the chain of events based on The Citizen App's report: 2:51:09 AM PDT Incident reported at 1770 Broadway. 2:51:10 AM PDT Police have received an unconfirmed report of five gunshots heard near a food truck. 2:57:59 AM PDT Officers at the location advised the gunshots were fired from a matte-green Lexus. The vehicle was last seen on Broadway. A person who was reportedly shot at the location was admitted to a nearby hospital. 3:02:01 AM PDT The address reported for this incident has changed to 19th St & Broadway. 3:02:02 AM PDT Officers have located shell casings at the location and advised to closed off road. 3:22:04 AM PDT Additional units are requested on the north and south of Broadway. 3:23:08 AM PDT Officers advised the vehicle may be an Infiniti and not Lexus. 3:45:32 AM PDT Police advise a victim with a gunshot wound appeared at a hospital. Officers were told that the gunfire struck the back window of a vehicle and hit the victim in the back of the head. The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. 3:47:39 AM PDT It was previously reported that two women were shot here. This was inaccurate and the incident has been amended. The two women were shot in front of USSF Benioff Children's Hospital, and the two shootings are unrelated. 3:53:17 AM PDT Police are looking for a male suspect. 4:16:01 AM PDT Police report that there is one bullet strike mark on the rear windshield of the vehicle. In summary, we have a shooter at large and one person dead. An awful event in Downtown Oakland this morning. Stay tuned.
