NFL PR Debunks "NFL Interested In Raiders Las Vegas Allegiant Stadium For Other Teams" News. Vincent Bonsignore put out and Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk repeated his post that read "Could Las Vegas host both L.A. teams?". Florio claimed "Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal addresses the possibility. A Raiders official declined comment to Bonsignore on the possibility, which is understandable given the NFL’s recent edict to avoid discussing hypotheticals regarding the 2020 season." Well, I put the question to the NFL's public relations point-person Brian McCarthy, who should know if that's truly in the League's planning, and he gave a simple answer: "haven't heard that." In my 18-year-association with the National Football League, that answer means "no", but politely. Right now, it's May 13th, 2020. States are opening up. The NFL has pushed back it's plan to get out of what I call it's "virtual" phase, and sponsors are eager to see what investments they could make pan out. So, we're going to have football in each city, as much as Las Vegas needs the extra business. Stay tuned.
