If not, Washington is assuredly earmarking one of its practice squad slots for his development.” DE Deionte Knight, Western Knight, six-foot-four and 275 pounds, tallied 52 tackles, 13 for loss, 10 sacks and two forced fumbles in his fourth year at Western University, helping the Mustangs win the Vanier Cup. The Ajax, Ontario native won the J.P. Metras Trophy last season, awarded to the Most Outstanding Down Lineman in U Sports. Knight finished his collegiate career with 96 tackles and 13.5 sacks (2018-2021). CB Devin Taylor started his collegiate career in 2017 with Illinois State before heading to Virginia Tech in 2020. In his 1 season at VPI. He started 8 of the 10 games he appeared in picking off 2 interceptions with 55 tackles. Starting 12 games for Bowling Green in 2021, Taylor made another 44 tackles, broke up eight passes, and had another 2 interceptions.
